During my work in Rio, I also met ceramic artists Regina Kemp and Marcia Limini. The were running ceramic classes at Marcia's studio, with youth from the Favella of Santa Teresa. They called this project Officina de Outeiro. Also interested in my work in Africa with disadvantaged youth they invited me to come and teach as a visiting artist.
