"I believe that artists have roles of agents of transformation. My mission as an artist: to inspire, encourage and provide access to the greater community in the creation of art."

In March 2007 I spent a month in Kampala, Uganda, working with the organization INMOVEMENT.
Although the focus of Inmovement work is dance and performing arts they also have a team of visual artist from Uganda working with them. I worked as an organizational developer, artist and project manager. In my month there we built a performance space and produced a show with over 200 children on the theme of Identity.
